John neglected his teeth for years, suffering from severe grinding that wore his teeth down to almost nothing and left him too embarrassed to smile. The situation worsened over time, and he realized he needed significant dental care to avoid constant emergency treatments. With a severe gag reflex adding to his challenges, he found a practice that treated him like family, taking extra care to address his concerns and provide a personalized solution that restored his smile and confidence without making him feel like just another patient.
Well, my story began when I neglected my teeth back in growing up in North Dakota. First of all, my family has soft teeth over the years and I’m a knight grinder, and so the front of my teeth were ground down to literally almost nothing. It deteriorated over the years and so is that transpired, it got to a point where I needed substantial help. I had to do something and I start looking because I thought I’m going to spend more money on emergency care than it would just taken care of the problem now.
At the worst it, looked like I was from a third world country with teeth mess and never smiled. Never had any type of jovial smile or any ride. My mouth is always like this closed and making sure nobody noticed my teeth. Now, I’m a totally different person. I was severe gag reflex on top of it, and I informed them of that. And they realize that, and they took extra special care of me to make sure that they use techniques that basically were able to eliminate most of the gag reflect medal. They just did the right thing for me, I think they treated me like a family over per se and so here’s what I would do for my brother or my dad and make sure that there was nothing that need to be done over and above necessity.
People have noticed that GIC smiling like, wow, your teeth look great. Like, they met the perfect, it’s the right color, they’re not overdone. Soon as I kind of walked into the door, they like, hey, John have a seat. We’ll be right with you. I waited no longer than two minutes, got back into the chair and then literally within minutes post that, the doctor was there, and we were moving along with my case. I felt everything was done for me, not for them. So my case was was looked at for not from a hey, I can make quote unquote money off of this person, but I’m doing what’s right for the customer. So you’re not number per se, you are treated like a patient, you’re not treated like a number. The care given to you pre, during and post the follow-up, you actually feel like they care versus being a number.
